10 Questions with Miguel Alda
When did you start playing tennis? At 7 years old, I started playing with my big sister and big brother, both Westwood Tennis players.
What is your favorite subject in school, and why? Physics because the teacher, Mr. Chang is a lot of fun. I want to play him in ping pong.
Do you have a college you'd like to attend? If so, why do you want to go there? Somewhere that I can play Division I tennis at.
Have you thought of a possible major? Business/Marketing or Law
What are some of the things you do away from the tennis court? Play soccer with friends and hang out with them.
Who do you consider to be the funniest person on the team, and why? Sreyas, because he is crazy. He is always making me laugh.
Do you have a favorite role model? Why do you respect this person? My dad, becuase he always supports me in tennis.
Why would someone want to play tennis at Westwood HS? It's a great sport to play and the people on the team are always fun to be with.
Any advice for the up-and-coming tennis player at Westwood? Listen, practice hard, be committed, and have fun
What, if anything, will you miss about Westwood when you graduate? Being with the team
