The freshman were rained out after two hours of solid play by the team. Everyone got at least one match in before being cancelled due to rain. The players were not thrilled that they had to return to class for the rest of the afternoon.
The JV had a solid showing at the Georgetown tournament:
- B Boys Singles: Consolation Champ: Zach
- A Girls Doubles: 2ndplace: Camilla & Amrita
- B Girls Doubles: 1stplace: Shelby & Aarti
- B Boys Doubles: 1stPlace: Naveen & Deepak
The JV tournament ended with Gaby Vasquez Consolation Championship match. Unfortunately it ended in defeat with a 10-12 super tie breaker. Gaby fought off 4 match points after being down 5-9, to tie it at 9 all, but she ran out of steam as the sun was setting to drop the match 10-12.
